888 Sport Launches It’s First US Mobile Betting Platform

888 Sport has launched it’s first-ever mobile sports betting platform in the United States of America.

The company did so by expanding their sports operation in the state of New Jersey to include a mobile option.

888 Sport, the sports gambling arm of 888, is now the 7th provider of mobile sports betting in the state. They did so by soft-launching their mobile sportsbook on Monday.

They made the platform available to a small number of people as a means of testing the product. New Jersey state law requires that 5 days of testing take place a full product launch.

888 are using the license of Caesars to launch their sportsbook NJ. This is the same thing they have done with their 888 Casino NJ and their online poker room.

Itai Frieberger, the Chief Executive of 888, stated: “The launch of 888sport.com in New Jersey is a major milestone for the company in our ongoing expansion across the regulated US online gaming market and provides 888 with a unique and truly multi-product proposition in what is currently the largest regulated US state.”

In New Jersey, players will have to register with a new account to begin gambling with real money. Bettors will be able to wager on football, basketball, baseball and many other sports. The new platform will also include in-play betting.
