Updated Premier League Title Winner Odds

It seems as if the Premier League season only just kicked off, but here we are in an international break.

The international break, or interlull, is a good time to take stock of the season so far. Below we take a look at the Premier League title contenders and the updated odds.

Only three teams enter the international break with a 100% record. One of those is Liverpool, who remain in first place after beating Leicester 2 – 1. Despite this, Liverpool are still behind Manchester City in the oddsmakers view.

Manchester City themselves had a 2 – 1, against Newcastle. After getting back to winning ways, they are 4/6 with bet365 to retain the title. The same bookie has an industry best price for Liverpool to beat them to the title, at 11/4.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are adjusting well to life under new manager Maurizio Sarri. They have won four in a row, and bet365 has them at 10/1 to win the title. Because of the tumult surrounding Chelsea, it is easy to forget that a title this year would be their third in five years. If Sarri works out for them, they cannot be ruled out.

The odds for Chelsea may shorten further, considering they have two winnable games coming up in Cardiff and West Ham.

Spurs endured a humbling 2 – 1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road last weekend. Tottenham’s title pedigree has been debated for years. They have been a brilliant team, but flatter to decieve at times. Going into the international break, they are 16/1 to win the Premier League with Bet365.

Manchester United are a Jose Mourinho bad hair day away from utter disaster. However, they returned to winning ways against Burnley over the weekend. Bet365 has them at 40/1 to win the title.
