The Premier League transfer window may be closed, but that doesn’t mean that English teams are safe. They could still lose players to foreign giants, as Chelsea are aware of with the case of Eden Hazard.
Belgian star Eden Hazard has been consistently linked with a move to Real Madrid for the last five years. With the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, there is a galactico shaped hole in the Real Madrid squad. If Eden Hazard is going to leave Chelsea, it seems likely that it will be this year.
Despite resistance from Chelsea, Real Madrid are not giving up on Hazard yet. Reportedly, they are preparing a massive £200 million bid for the Chelsea talisman.

Hazard is not openly pushing for a move, although he is stalling on a new £300,000 a week contract. Furthermore, former Chelsea number one and Belgium teammate Thibaut Courtois has also moved to Madrid this summer.
Courtois has spoken out about the possibility of linking up with Hazard again in Madrid, fuelling speculation in the act.
“Hazard has congratulated me on signing for Real Madrid,” said Thibaut Courtois.
“He is a great player and I would like to be always at his side, let’s see what happens in the future.
“If he can come [to Real Madrid], it would be fantastic.”
However, new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has insisted that Hazard is not for sale.
“Hazard is with us,” Sarri told reporters.
“It is not a problem, I have spoken with his three or four times.
“He never said anything about the market.
“He is happy to stay here.”
This saga will be one to keep an eye on until the end of August, when the transfer window closes for all European teams. Hazard is 3/1 to join Real Madrid before September 3rd with Paddy Power.
