A test phase is required by Maltese law before a full release of the game can go ahead. As well as obtaining a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority, the developer wants to ensure it meets “high standards”.
The GiG Games vehicle has been in development for the past year, according to a Gaming Innovation Group statement. It announced that between now and June 2019, a further 5 – 7 games are set to be launched.
As well as it’s self-developed games, it will open it’s platform to collaborations on ‘a number of additional games’ from third-party iGaming groups.
“Besides developing its own in-house games, GiG Games will also be allowing other games studios to build their games onto its platform. This collaboration enables an increase in efficiency and productivity that will enable GiG Games to frequently launch multiple games.”
GiG Games is seen as the group’s way to expand within the iGaming industry. They say it will augment it’s ‘ecosystem of products and services’. The overall aim is to evolve into a ‘a full-service solutions provider to the gaming industry’ that can cover the entire ‘value chain within iGaming’.Not sure where to play online casino?
