Bayern Munich appeared to have done something about it in the second leg of the Champions League semi final tie at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night. However …. Real Madrid.

Davies’ right-footed strike ignited the game, and Bayern had a warning from Madrid immediately afterwards. Nacho had the ball in the net only for it to be disallowed for a shove.
They held out until the end of the match, and brought Harry Kane off on 85 minutes. Bayern would not hold on for a 1 – 0, though, because Champions League history was about to be written.
Former Newcastle and Stoke striker Joselu, on loan at Madrid from second-division Espanyol, came off the bench on 81 minutes. On 88 minutes, Manuel Neuer fumbled a shot and Joslu was there to finish from close range.
He was in the 6-yard box three minutes later to score his second, and wait for the VAR to eventually rule him onside.
