There was concern over the availability of Arsenal left back Kieran Tierney this week when he withdrew from the Scotland squad.
His unavailability for Scotland’s upcoming fixtures had gunners fans worried that he had suffered a setback in his injury recovery.
So far, Kieran Tierney has been eased back into action for his new team, following an injury-plagued final season for Celtic.
However, those worries were put to rest by an electric Kieran Tierney performance in the Europa League on Thursday.

Tierney provided the assist for Arsenal’s first goal in their 4 – 0 rout of Standard Liege. His crossing was impeccable on the night and his performance was generally excellent.
If he can stay hit, he will be a definite upgrade on the Bosnian Sead Kolasinac.
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery said that the coaching staff are happy with Tierney’s progress.
“He played 80 minutes last week against Nottingham Forest with a good performance, tonight also I think we are a better competitive team with him and Sead Kolasinac in that left-back [position].
“Really we are happy with him.”
It seems his withdrawal from international duty was a precautionary measure. With any luck, we will be seeing him in the Premier League sooner rather than later.

Tierney is the 20th Scottish international to play for Arsenal. He follows some notable names like George Graham and Charlie Nicholas, both legends of the club.
But for the appearance of Scottish youth player Charlie Gilmour in a Europa League game last season, Tierney would be the first Scot to represent Arsenal for 21 years.
Tierney will certainly be the first Scottish first team player at Arsenal since that time. Before Gilmour and Tierney, the last Scottish player to wear the red and white was Scott Marshal in 1997.
